Progressive Psychotherapy

Welcome
Have you ever felt like you don’t quite fit the mold—or like you’re navigating a transition that others around you don’t fully understand? At Soma Psychotherapy, we know how isolating that can feel, especially in spaces where it’s hard to find care that truly reflects your values and lived experience. We offer a warm, grounded space where all parts of you are welcome, including the questions, doubts, and in-between places that often come with growth and change.
Our work is collaborative, relational, and rooted in both insight and meaningful, lasting change. We specialize in trauma-informed care using approaches like EMDR, IFS, ACT, and somatic therapies, and we support individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and faith transitions. We’re especially attuned to working with those who feel outside of traditional expectations, including LGBTQIA+ clients and those deconstructing or redefining their beliefs.
We’re based in Salt Lake City and offer both in-person and online therapy to meet your needs. If you’re curious about working together, we invite you to reach out—whether to ask a question or schedule a consultation. We’d be honored to walk alongside you.
